Course Outline
- Preparation of health practitioners for effective and confident implementation of primary health care in a rural/remote/isolated setting. This includes assisting in the development of stronger assessment and clinical skills relevant to a remote area.
- Enhancing community understanding through development of skills for health practitioners to work effectively with communities.
- Enhancing the PHC practice of health practitioners already working in a remote/rural setting. The modules will assist the practitioner to effectively put theory into practice in a relevant community context.
